After taking on her first long distance race in the mountains, Milly knew she wanted to share the experience of what this had taught her to younger audiences. Milly had realised that through perseverance, a building of resilience and a believe to “give it a go”, she was able to be successful in what she had set out to do.

And she wanted to share the message that little people can do whatever they set their minds to.

February 2026 saw the debut launch of Milly’s first book: Mildred the Marmot and the Mad Mountain March. Being an author, sharing her writing with young audiences as well as her experience teaching about confidence has been her ultimate dream come true.
